Everyone has the power to be a superhero by recycling. It only takes a few minutes, but the impact lasts a lifetime, even for generations. As a picturesque area of Michigan that is blessed with natural resources that make it a special place to live, visit, and recreate, it deserves our dedication to reduce litter and pollution, particularly in our waterways and natural environment where discarded items can have a harmful impact on water quality, wildlife, our landscape, quality of life and economy.

In Mecosta County, each of us can make a difference by recycling —  reducing waste and our reliance on the landfill while protecting our community and natural environment and collecting materials that would otherwise be thrown away as trash and turning them into new products.

Everyone can contribute to the health and wellbeing of our community and the planet. Join the recycling revolution!

New forklift was purchased 100% from generous donations of local units of government, service organizations and foundations, replacing our 22-year-old one.
