Recycles, reflecting the organization’s ongoing efforts to promote local waste material recovery
and recycling through its community-based recycling services. The rebranding, including a new
name, new look, and new website, comes as millions nationwide celebrate National Recycling

What’s New in Recycling in Mecosta County
Materials Management Planning development is underway and Mecosta County has joined the multi-county Heartland MMP Group. It is an eight-county planning area including Mecosta, Osceola, Clare, Roscommon, Ogemaw, Gladwin, Midland and Isabella Counties. The MMP includes measurable goals and objectives that includes a 45% residential household recycling rate and a halving of food waste in the next three years.
